I have two of these boards and have tried one and both in the system. Your software does not detect them. How do I manually set find these boards.

Answers

First, your Windows version cannot be newer than XP. None of our ISA boards have drivers for Windows newer than XP. For this CIO-model, and all ISA bus boards, finding a working address space in a PC was always trial-and-error. Usually you should start at the default 200 HEX, as shown at the top of page 10 of the user manual: http://www.mccdaq.com/PDFs/manuals/cio-das48-pga.pdf You must manually enter the same address into InstaCal. Then work your way higher and higher until you find one that works. If none work, then it could be the PC is not working correctly (try a different PC).

Hello - To migrate a CIO-DAS800 application, we recommend our PCI-DAS08 board, which was designed in part for that purpose. If using our InstaCal/Universal Library under Windows, the migration should be straight forward. Most likely you do not have to change your wiring, but check the pinouts to see if any used signals differ.

We use the ISA version of this card, we need to have the ability to set the dip switches to a specific setting. We set the card at 300 & 380. We would like to find an exact replacement of this card in a PCI slot version.
