Digital488/CE adds TTL-level digital input and output capability to IEEE 488 based systems. The unit provides complete digital I/O handshaking, including data latch input, service request input, new-data output, clear output, and a trigger output.
Digital488/OEM is the board-level digital I/O interface of the Digital488.
Extender488 and Extender488/F provide an economical solution to the 60 ft. (20 m) distance limitation of the IEEE bus. Using high-speed 115.2 k baud serial data transmission, a pair of extenders can stretch the bus up to 4,000 ft. (1,000 meters). Extender488 uses differential RS-422 drivers and receivers that provide high-noise immunity with low-cost twisted-pair cabling. Extender488/F uses duplex fiber-optic data transmission, which provides high-electrical isolation as well as high noise immunity.
Serial488/4 is a four-channel IEEE 488 to serial converter that enables an IEEE 488 controller to command up to four -bidirectional RS-232 or RS-422 devices. The unit attaches to an IEEE 488 controller in the same manner as an IEEE instrument, and allows the IEEE 488 controller to communicate with serial printers, plotters, and instruments or with other computers.
