Great value

I am not stretching the bounds of this module, but it works great for my acceleration measurements. It was also easy to get a quick view going for a couple of side measurements.

This product exceeds on every aspect of its performance, reliability and price.

We have been using compact USB DAQ for over 10 years. We have tried almost all manufacturers in this space. We have been purchasing the DT9837 since late 2011 or early 2012. We have purchased over 100 units over that time and have not had one failure or problem with the design. The drivers and API is compact and easy to use. Something that I can strongly attest is unequaled among its competitors. Pricing is competitive and delivery has been reliable and quick, always under 2-3 weeks (once I believe it was a bit over 3 weeks but we were told it would take that long) In most cases usually within one week to 10 days at our door.

Answers

The DT9837B supports a single Tach input capable of supporting a +- 30 volt signal with a +2 volt trigger level. Your proximity probe must return to a + 2 volt or greater to trigger the tach input.

Hello, Both accelerometer models are compatible with the DT9837 Series modules, but require a BNC connector at the end of the cable to make the connection. Depending on your frequency range under test, the base DT9837 and DT9837A modules have a sampling rate up to 52.7kHz, while the DT9837B and DT9837C modules can sample up to 105.4kHz. With regards to software, you would need the ‘QuickDAQ FFT Analysis Option’ for your vibration measurements. QuickDAQ also has an export data to Excel option.
