Inaccurate/Misleading Datasheet

The datasheet claims an "Update rate, max" of 1111 S/s per channel, and makes no mention of the card being a serial or "demultiplexed" device. In actuality, the device actually has an AGGREGATE update rate of just under 4k S/s. The actual update rates I am obtaining range from 3360 S/s per channel for a single channel, to approximately 320 S/s per channel using 12 channels. As my system requires 12 channels updating at 1000 S/s per channel, this card is bottlenecking the performance of my system. I will need to find another alternative card and redesign and manufacture the components of the system that interface with this card, potentially causing weeks or months of delays. MCC DAQ was aware of the actual performance of the card, yet the datasheet is not reflecting that. On the positive side, the card does provide accurate output voltages and is fairly easy to program in C++ with the provided examples in the UL.

Excellent product

This board worked well for 10 years but was hit with a voltage spike. Customer service helped to get a replacement board quickly for half price. Installed quickly and got me back running with little trouble.

Good Product

The D/A channels works well. The digital I/O can not be tested by the factory software. Then the engineer gave me a patch for digital I/O test which can only test the first card. If the factory software will provide digital I/O test function, it will be perfect. Overall, as a D/A card, it works great.
