Beginning in late 2015 with version 6.51 of InstaCal, the PCI-DAS08 has been compatible with Win10. Be sure to run the InstaCal utility once to have the PCI-DAS08 recognized. Whatever issue you are seeing is likely something involving a higher software level. Please contact MCC technical support, and describe both the issue and what software package you are using.

Data from our DTA instrument (Orton Ceramics) is acquired by PCI DAS 08 card. Card is taken by PC system board. Since recently we are getting following error messages: AIn scan retuened an error=1, Stop Background returned error=1. Does this indicate any problems with DAS08?.

Most likely the PCI-DAS08 is OK. Error 1 was intended to mean that the board is not present in the system, or the logical board number (0, 1, 2, etc.) the program is referencing has no corresponding board configured in our InstaCal utility. Normally you run InstaCal to assign a board number must match what the application programmer expected it to be. Sorry, but the PCI-DAS08 is not offered in a PCIe format. However, we do have a PCIe option that would work as a replacement. The PCIe-DAS1602/16 would be a good alternative to use in place of the PCI-DAS08.
